Shipping Charges: Shipping charges are calculated based on the actual weight of the product(s) ordered, the distance traveled and type of shipping service you specify.
All shipments are F.O.B. Shipping Point (“Origin”). Transportation method (“Carrier”) is determined by the size and weight of each item. Items of differing size and weight may ship independently, by different methods, even if ordered together. We ship most items via United Parcel Service (“UPS”), Federal Express (“FedEx”) or United States Postal Service (“USPS”). Items too large or too heavy for these small package delivery services will be sent by motor freight (“Common Carrier”). There is a minimum shipping fee for motor freight deliveries. Someone must be present to accept motor freight deliveries. Standard truck delivery is to a dock facility designed to receive freight. Twenty-four hour notification, residential deliveries, lift gate, or inside deliveries are available for an additional charge and must be specified at the time of the order to avoid any delays or redelivery fees imposed by the freight carrier.
Unless otherwise stated, freight and shipping fees will be charged for shipments to anywhere in the contiguous United States, using a carrier of our choice. Other terms apply to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and export orders. Any extra charges incurred for additional services, such as customer's carrier or special handling by the carrier, must be paid by the consignee. Title and risk of loss pass to the customer upon tender of shipment to the carrier. In the event of LTL damages we follow the NMFC (National Motor Freight Classification) laws that are regulated by the Federal Government.
Pilgrim Medical Equipment will ship freight prepaid to the destination specified on the order and all freight charges will be billed to your account. Prices stated do not included transportation charges, shipping fees or special handling or services by the carrier. Pilgrim Medical does charge a shipping & handling fee (which includes internal handling and related costs) on all orders and which is reflected on customer’s invoice. Receipts for shipping and handling charges will not be furnished.
Title and risk of loss pass to customer upon tender of shipment to the Carrier. Delivery inspections are required. If the product is damaged in transit, customer should note the damage directly on the delivery receipt, photograph damaged merchandise and/or packaging and contact Pilgrim Medical Equipment Customer Service immediately to obtain an inspection report from the Carrier. Customers can contact us at 800-654-7410 to report any loss or damage incurred.
Collect Shipments - We will gladly ship via your specified carrier however; we will not ship with certain carriers due to poor experience. COD Shipments are not accepted.
